OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR CERTIFICATE STUDENTS
Financial assistance is a necessity for many college students, particularly those coming from disadvantaged families. Majority of these students are also desiring careers that require many years of education especially the one that goes beyond the undergraduate level, yet financial difficulties always hamper their goals. At African Institute, we offer both merit-based and need-based scholarships to certificate students who qualified for any of these scholarships. Our merit-based scholarship especially recognizes and honors the academically talented students and those in the field of athletics to progress to our diploma program. Meanwhile our need-based scholarships are designed to make our diploma programmes accessible to certificate students who would not otherwise have the funds to attend. Our scholarship committee may look at a student more holistically when determining whether to award them need-based scholarship and how much fee cut they should receive under the scholarship.
