20. RUAF Global Partnership on Sustainable Urban Agriculture and Food System External

Established in 1999 by UNDP, FAO, IDRC, GTZ and CIRAD, this is a consortium of expert institutions and individuals that includes cities, research institutes and NGOs, with a recognized track record in urban and peri-urban agriculture and urban food system solutions. Focus is predominantly non western countries but their resources section do have a few titles that may still be helpful including: "Assessment of retail food environments and green spaces for healthy cities," issues of Urban Agriculture Magazine, "Urban and peri-urban agriculture sourcebook," etc.
